Take Notice that the following entitled Ordinance was introduced and passed on first reading at a meeting of the Township Committee of the Township of Mannington in the County of Salem and State of New Jersey on March 30, 2026, and will be considered for final passage after a public hearing at a meeting to be held by said Township Committee at the Mannington Townhall, 491 Route 45, Mannington, New Jersey 08079 on May 7, 2026, at 5:30 p.m. The title of said Ordinance is as follows:

An Ordinance Amending The Mannington Township Land Development Ordinance To Eliminate “I Industrial District Uses” As Conditional Uses In A Agricultural And Cr Conditional Residential Zoning Districts, And To Eliminate “Basic Utility Airports” As Conditional Uses In A Agricultural Zoning Districts
The purpose of the Ordinance is to amend the lists of “CONDITIONAL USES” in the Mannington Township Land Development Ordinance for the A AGRICULTURAL and CR CONDITIONAL RESIDENTIAL zoning districts (as set forth in Mannington Code Chapter 70 – Land Development 70 Attachments 2 and 3) to eliminate “Basic Utility Airports” as conditional uses in A Agricultural zoning districts, and to eliminate “I Industrial District Uses” as conditional uses in A Agricultural and CR Conditional Residential zoning districts, as recommended in the Mannington Township Planning Board’s 2024 Master Plan Reexamination Report.

Also, copies of the Ordinance are on file for public inspection, examination and acquisition at the office of the Township’s Deputy Clerk, Patti L. Davis, at her office in the Mannington Townhall, 491 Route 45, Mannington, New Jersey 08079 during regular office hours which are Mondays through Thursdays from 9:00 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. and from 1:00 p.m. to 3:45 p.m., (excluding holidays). Members of the public may obtain copies of the Ordinance without cost from the Township Clerk, before and after final adoption.
